Fundraising Coaching

Building new fundraising systems, implementing new practices, and/or preparing for major fundraising campaigns can move staff and board leadership into unfamiliar territory. It helps to have a guide. To meet this need for current and former clients, Development for Conservation offers regular structured telephone coaching related to fundraising activities.

There are three objectives of such coaching:

1] Provide strategic assistance in making plans, setting priorities, and sequencing activities for fundraising and donor development.

2] Trouble-shoot and problem-solve as unexpected barriers and obstacles to success present themselves.

3] Create another level of accountability to keep things moving.

D4C’s Coaching offers:

  • An initial meeting to establish parameters, expectations, and the first set of issues to be addressed through coaching,
  • One or two telephone coaching sessions each month, scheduled and paid for in advance – the calls are open-ended (within reason) and may utilize video conferencing in addition to voice, and
  • An open-ended agreement with no minimum and no maximum number of sessions.

Fees

The price for the described coaching service is $200/$350 per month for one or two calls per month. Calls will be scheduled by the 20th of the month preceding them and invoiced at that time. Payments are due by the first of each month.
